New Years Eve Already...?

It is New Years Eve and I took this early picture of Lila in
her new Dora tent.

Birthday to you.

It was mommy's Birthday, so we celebrated in style
with a sweet treat from the West Side Bakery.

Frozen Times

We spent a portion of the day at the Cleveland Zoo.
Outside, you can see animals and an ice sculptor at work.
Inside, is the warmth of the Rainforest with lots of exciting things
to see. Just be careful not to let a bird poo
on you in the process.

In this photo Lila wanted nothing to do with being a part
of this image. I think that is why I love it so.

I put on my hazard lights on a main road, got
out of my car and composed this photograph.
When I had turned around I realized I had created

I had truly forgotten how great this place is.
This is about as close to my grandma's homemade meat sauce as it gets.
I had not been here in years and nothing has changed.
The decor is the same.
The jukebox has the same records.

Glass pieces

These are the samples I made @ my glass blowing class.
I think it is very intersting how they turned out. You really have
no concept of the color when you are working on a piece.
