Splish Splash

This was her first experience

in our backyard pool.

The water was freezing, but we enjoyed it

anyway for at least a few minutes.

Passed out

After a long day of travel and hanging out with relatives,

Lila completely passed out the second I put her in the car.

That is when I composed this image from the trunk

of my jeep.

Time well spent

I caught this moment with my camera

as Lila and I were playing

with blocks and books.

Always a good time exploring

what will become the object

of interest next.

as I head out on my morning commute.

I composed this image while Lila

was throwing her toy

around. I like how her face is

still in focus, while her toy

is merely a representation of colour.

I shot this image under very low

lighting conditions. The saturation

of the pixels reminds me of the grain

you get with high speed film.

My Aunt is in town visiting with my mother.

with Lila.

The Sickness

It's been a few days and I

still have a bad case of the sickness.

After searching four different stores I

was able to locate Puffs plus tissues with Vicks.

Quite possibly the best tissue ever made.

Building Blocks

I caught this picture of Lila when she was playing

with some of her toys.

Although she has been fighting her first cold,

she has been a trooper. The whole family

is currently plagued with the sickness, so

I am sure this weekend will be filled with rest.

1st time round

Today was my daughter's

first time at daycare and I think she

had a blast. I was told that she

was happy, playful, silly & busy.

I think they left out one descriptive

word...adorable.

These were hanging out in my backyard, so

Another Day with Lila Rae

We spent the afternoon going for a

stroller ride and hanging out in

the front yard.

We tried to take pictures of

bees but they were too fast.

Mere Observation

So, I saw these phat

rims on a mini van today and I

did a double take.

I knew I had to take

a picture and post it.

This gives a whole other

meaning to soccer mom.

The Colour of Sky

I wanted to take a picture the other

day. The clouds were huge to the point that

I felt like an ant on the ground. I did not have my camera

on me at the time and I was not a happy camper.

Needless to say, the huge clouds were back today

and I was able to compose this shot.

Fresh rain

I was attempting to take photos

of a cardinal this morning,

but by the time I went outside it

was no where to be found.

That is when I composed this shot.

Everything was covered with

light drops of rain that happened over night.

Sweet Little Girl

I shot this photo in the

parking lot of Q104, right after

mommy finished her radio

show. She always looks happy and

that always puts a smile on my face.
