Beauty of the morning sun

I shot this image this morning

on my daily commute.

I love how the harsh sunlight

tricked the focus on my camera.

The result is almost a painters rendition

of the scene.

I messed around with the focus to

make it appear even more abstract.

Backyard Oasis

I took this picture from our little

inflatable pool that we set up.

This was her first real experience

in the water and she loved it.

Laughing splashing around...

kicking her feet with all her might.

Definitely a great getaway.

Brunch at Lucky's

I enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning

with all natural ingredients courtesy of

the garden at Lucky's. Definitely

one of my favorite spots in Tremont.

My friend Mike and myself both enjoyed

our biscuits outside on a beautiful morning.

HIghly recommended to anyone

spending time in Cleveland.

Day 169

The Roller Coast

This is a view from the parking lot of

Cedar Point. We spent most of the day

there riding roller coasters and stuffing

our faces with funnel cake. We

literally rode all of the main rides

in about an 2 1/2 hours. I guess

it is a good call to go on a weekday.

I composed this image from a flower that

was recently starting to bloom.

It caught my attention for some

reason, so I decided to take

a photograph.

Tiny little toes

I shot this picture yesterday as Lila

was crawling all over the place.

It's difficult to get an image in focus as she moves

around so fast.

I did not have an opportunity to post it

since our power was out all nite due to

the big storm.

the forecast was supposed to

be rainy all week. On my way home

I was surrounded by giant clouds

and a beautiful blue sky.

Take that mister inaccurate doppler weather

forecast system.

Adventures with Stoli

I got up close and personal with Stoli

as she was wandering around the house.

I think the expression on her face is

classic, like she has better things to do...

or mice to chase.

Views from Summit Lake

On my ride this evening I

enjoyed some great views of Summit Lake

courtesy of the Tow Path.

When you bike across this bridge it is like

you are floating on water while on a wooden

roller coaster.

This is a very peaceful place.

I highly recommend it to anyone.

The Factory

I passed this factory on my

ride this afternoon. I suddenly stopped

a composed this image. I love how the

actual smoke coming out of the smoke stack

mimics the clouds in the sky.

Dad's day dinner @ Crave

We celebrated my first Dad's day @ my favorite

akronite spot. The food was delicious

as usual and I would definitely recommend

the root beer float.

In shadows

I believe this image is pretty

self explanatory.

Daylight

Normally I would have not found this

subject very interesting at all.

The light was coming in at just the right angle

as the sun began its decent.

It brings out the depth of the shadow

in this image while highlighting the

color of the door.

She has been teething lately

which i can tell has been hurting.

She has still been happy for the most part.

From the Fridge

I wasn't in the mindset to shoot much

tonite, when this composition

just happened. I tricked the meter

on my camera to over expose this shot

while in a low lighting situation.

Somehow I managed to

keep decent focus without the use

of a tripod.

I love...love this picture.

I shot something similar on my phone yesterday

and was not able to upload it to my

computer. I love how the back lighting

washes out the image making it look

like an old photograph.

Lila had dropped her sippy cup on the

floor and could not figure out

what happened. So she just looked in amazement...

trying to find answers.
