Day 174
Beauty of the morning sun
I shot this image this morning
on my daily commute.
I love how the harsh sunlight
tricked the focus on my camera.
The result is almost a painters rendition
of the scene.
Day 173
Painting in blue
This is an image of a painting that
I made quite awhile ago.
I messed around with the focus to
make it appear even more abstract.

Day 172
On the Keys
I found interest in something
that I see everyday, yet have not really
explored. A different perspective
on familiar object I use daily.

Day 171
Backyard Oasis
I took this picture from our little
inflatable pool that we set up.
This was her first real experience
in the water and she loved it.
Laughing splashing around...
kicking her feet with all her might.
Definitely a great getaway.

Day 170
Brunch at Lucky's
I enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning
with all natural ingredients courtesy of
the garden at Lucky's. Definitely
one of my favorite spots in Tremont.
My friend Mike and myself both enjoyed
our biscuits outside on a beautiful morning.
HIghly recommended to anyone
spending time in Cleveland.
Day 169
The Roller Coast
This is a view from the parking lot of
Cedar Point. We spent most of the day
there riding roller coasters and stuffing
our faces with funnel cake. We
literally rode all of the main rides
in about an 2 1/2 hours. I guess
it is a good call to go on a weekday.

Day 168
Dal Fiore
I composed this image from a flower that
was recently starting to bloom.
It caught my attention for some
reason, so I decided to take
a photograph.

Day 167
Tiny little toes
I shot this picture yesterday as Lila
was crawling all over the place.
It's difficult to get an image in focus as she moves
around so fast.
I did not have an opportunity to post it
since our power was out all nite due to
the big storm.

Day 166
in the sky...
the forecast was supposed to
be rainy all week. On my way home
I was surrounded by giant clouds
and a beautiful blue sky.
Take that mister inaccurate doppler weather
forecast system.

Day 165
Adventures with Stoli
I got up close and personal with Stoli
as she was wandering around the house.
I think the expression on her face is
classic, like she has better things to do...
or mice to chase.

Views from Summit Lake
On my ride this evening I
enjoyed some great views of Summit Lake
courtesy of the Tow Path.
When you bike across this bridge it is like
you are floating on water while on a wooden
roller coaster.
This is a very peaceful place.
I highly recommend it to anyone.
Day 164
The Factory
I passed this factory on my
ride this afternoon. I suddenly stopped
a composed this image. I love how the
actual smoke coming out of the smoke stack
mimics the clouds in the sky.

Day 163
Dad's day dinner @ Crave
We celebrated my first Dad's day @ my favorite
akronite spot. The food was delicious
as usual and I would definitely recommend
the root beer float.
Day 162
In shadows
I believe this image is pretty
self explanatory.

Day 161
Daylight
Normally I would have not found this
subject very interesting at all.
The light was coming in at just the right angle
as the sun began its decent.
It brings out the depth of the shadow
in this image while highlighting the
color of the door.

Day 160
My little girl
She has been teething lately
which i can tell has been hurting.
She has still been happy for the most part.

Day 159
From the Fridge
I wasn't in the mindset to shoot much
tonite, when this composition
just happened. I tricked the meter
on my camera to over expose this shot
while in a low lighting situation.
Somehow I managed to
keep decent focus without the use
of a tripod.

Day 158
Backyard Abstract
I liked the way that this
object looked just laying there,
taking up space on my back porch.
Waiting for someone to notice
the beauty in natural form...
& that someone was me.

Day 157
Stoked
I finally got a rack for my
Jeep. Can't wait to
ride all summer long..
Day 156
View of Lake Erie
I was doing some freelance work
yesterday when I composed this
image from my clients backyard.
Very calming..very tranquil.
Friday, June 11, 2010
Day 155
Abstract 2
This is not what you think.
I thought this image was interesting
as you can see the distortion
through the glass of this object.
Thursday, June 10, 2010
Day 154
Abstract
I saw the beauty
in this image
this afternoon
as I was driving down the road.
This struck me and I decided to
turn around to capture this image.
Sometimes I literally feel like something
internally lets me know what I have to shoot.
Wednesday, June 9, 2010
Day 153
Knockin on blocks
She was having a great time
hitting blocks together
and making sounds.
We have so much fun together.
Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Self Portrait
I took this image this evening
and thought that it
was visually interesting.
Day 152
Searching for the unknown
I love...love this picture.
I shot something similar on my phone yesterday
and was not able to upload it to my
computer. I love how the back lighting
washes out the image making it look
like an old photograph.
Lila had dropped her sippy cup on the
floor and could not figure out
what happened. So she just looked in amazement...
trying to find answers.

Day 151
Deep Blue
In the thick of things
I find beauty. I see behind
the obvious, underneath
the surface.
Sunday, June 6, 2010
Day 150
On our way
After a long day of
painting in Painesville, I took
this photo of Cherise as we were
heading home.
Saturday, June 5, 2010
Day 149
In the crib
Just finished lowering her crib &
that is definitely a good thing.
Its like a whole new world to her now.
Friday, June 4, 2010
Day 148
Words
I saw this quote in a magazine,
& it made me stop and think
how this relates to my life.
Is it reality to me?
If not, how can I make it true.
Thursday, June 3, 2010
Day 147
Respect your F-Stop
I took this picture of one
of my manual SLR film cameras.
I still love the look and feel of an old camera.
Day 146
Laughing the day away
I shot this image yesterday, but did
not have an opportunity to post it until
this morning. I can't believe that she is
already 9 months old.
Time flies by when you are having
the time of your life.
Tuesday, June 1, 2010
Day 145
Starlazer
Shot these images at my friends
first gig and cd release party
for his new music project Starlazer.
I had a great time listening to
some great music.
